Affordable Lenovo K4 Note coming soon, 3 GB of RAM on board
Lenovo is getting ready to launch a new smartphone that will be included its K Note series. Succeeding the very popular K3 Note, the new handset is called Lenovo K4 Note, and will be officially announced on January 5 in India.

Lenovo is confirming that the K4 Note will have 3 GB of RAM, also suggesting that the device might feature a fingerprint scanner, and a metal frame. According to Indian media, the new smartphone will cost about as much as the Lenovo K3 Note: around $160 (unlocked).

Despite its accessible price, the K3 Note offers more than decent features, including a 5.5-inch 1080p display, an octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor, 5 MP front-facing camera, 13 MP rear camera, 16 GB of expandable internal memory, and a 2900 mAh battery. We're expecting the K4 Note to be a similar mid-range handset.

At the moment, we don't know if Lenovo is planning to release the K4 Note globally. But we'll let you know as soon as details about the phone's launch are unveiled.

My girlfriend has the k3 note I'm pretty sure it has a 3000 mah battery but then again I've never popped the back open and taken a close look. She loves the thing but Tinydeal .com crammed it with ads and she doesn't want me to root it she's afraid I'll mess it up or something lol not a fan of the design though. As for this k4 I'm definitely intrigued I'm not going to lie.

Rooting is much easier than flashing custom ROMs. Getting ride off crappy ads isn't hard.

I really don't understand this craze with Chinese manufacturers calling their phones "Note" when there is clearly no note taking feature to mention. It's as if Note has become synonymous with phablet.
