Adobe Flash Player 10.2 now in Android Market for Froyo and higher
Android users with handsets running Froyo and Gingerbread can now upgrade to Adobe Flash Player 10.2 from the Android Market. Those who recently purchased the Honeycomb flavored Motorola XOOM can now enjoy Flash in the tablet's browser with the download.

Adobe says version 10.2 of Flash Player will boost performance, especially for dual-core processor powered devices. Rendering changes improve the way that Flash video is presented in the Android browser and there is improved soft keyboard support.

For XOOM users, it is suggested that you install Android 3.0.1 before downloading Flash. Early reports are praising the upgrade for a bump up in speed.

You can grab the update for free from the Android Market or by scanning the QR code below. And whatever your  experience with the new Adobe Flash Player 10.2, be sure to let us know by leaving a comment in the box below!

Got the update last night. It's definitely improved. With 10.1 flash banners and sic would kind of lag when I was scrolling, creating an effect like they were dragged around with the rest of the screen. Now they display perfectly. :)

well, in order to install flash player 10.2 you need an ARMv7 processor....smartphones with ARMv6 processors like wildfire and hero are still not supported ll/

I dont know what to do....i downloaded the last flash update on my dell streak and had to remove it....actually had to do a hard reset...with the update installed it screws up my phone..when playing a flash video it freezes up and makes this weird buzzing noise and won't stop until I pull the battery out. Without the update and with the stock version that comes with Froyo it works perfectly. I am not sure if I even want to try 10.2.....Dont feel like having to reset and reload all my apps...Is anyone else having those issues?
