Yesterday, we were given some insights on yet another LTE enabled device coming to MetroPCS – the Samsung Forte. Although the leaked rendered image resembled the other upcoming LTE device for the carrier, the Samsung SCH-R910, it bears a stark difference with its landscape sliding keyboard.
This time around, we're getting our first look at the actual device in question as the Samsung Forte stands out with its all glossy exterior. On the rear of the Android 2.2 Froyo powered smartphone, we obviously recognize the simple “4G” branding to let people know that it will be packing some serious data speeds.

Some of the reported specs of the Forte include a 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 5-megapixel camera, microSD card slot, and Samsung TouchWiz UI running on top of Android. Although there are slim details about the handset, it's speculated to be released on February 11th – so be sure to circle the date if you plan on picking this one up.
