AT&T's Mobile Security application aims to protect handsets from cyber threats
With mobile security continuing to be a major concern for most smartphone users, we’re beginning to see carriers becoming more aggressive with their attitudes towards combating cyber threats.
Well, it seems as though AT&T is joining the club now that they’re teaming up with Juniper Networks to offer a solution that aims to protect their devices. Actually, they’re investing in a new mobile security platform that will combat threats like viruses and malware – but at the same time, AT&T's upcoming Mobile Security application will also provide secondary functions like application monitoring and control services. All in all, it’s shaping to be one solution that will dish up some peace of mind for some people out there who are concerned about mobile related threats.
However, the first phase of the platform won’t be available until later this year, but it shouldn’t be too long before we hear word about its availability. In the meantime, you might want to be a little bit more careful on what you interact with on your phone.
