7 apps that make multitasking on Android a breeze

7 apps that make multitasking on Android a breeze
Argue all you want, Android is pretty great for multitasking. No, we don't think it beats iOS or Windows by a wide margin. What we want to say is that the recent apps menu is still a very convenient way of flying between different apps on a moment's notice. The more RAM your device has, the merrier! Additionally, Android tablets and phablets usually come with the option of running apps side by side, or in floating windows, which further reinforces the feeling of a desktop experiences. It's not quite the same, of course, but for basic everyday tasks, it sure goes a long way. With all this in mind, here's a bunch of apps we can use to augment and customize the Android multitasking experience. Give any of these a go, and thank their hard-working developers if you find yourself more productive than usual!

that's what people in general used to say about front facing cameras, led flashlight, waterproof... also what old iOS users used to say about: Notification Bar, Widgets, Quick Shortcuts, Folders... and many other software features borrowed from others...

Wait. They are doing a research programme on how to copy paste multitasking from Android to iOS. Just like the time period they took for apple watch. Now a days apple is busy copying s6 edge tech and is planning to avoid their home button and shift it to a screen on both sides. iNNOVATIONS OF APplE !!

Does anyone proofread these articles? Was wondering why I couldn't find SlideControl. Turns out that's not the name of the app. The app is Sidecontrol!

This is an example what I just keep loving about my post-jailbroken-iPhone era; making my device work/look as I please is extremely simple and readily available on the Google Play store.

Get a tablet, especially Samsung(not the low-end one) and you could get the best mustitasking experience without those third party apps.

Don't bother telling that to PhoneArena. Deaf ears about Sony, or blind eyes... They even ignore those important features in "deep" reviews... See the comparison between the Z3 Compact vs iPhone 6 to know what I mean... Besides ignoring many connectivity differences they also put tons of screenshots os iOS8 which is fairly simple in features and fail to show the amount of goodies on the Xperia UI.

@buccob that's right their hatred towards Sony shows here in these site. Every Sony article there's always the negative approach to it. Can't blame them. They loved samsung and apple so much.

While I agree... And it's actually a feature i wanted Sony to copy, in my Z3 Compact multi window is actually a bit clumsier than floating apps/widgets due to the smallish screen... I have already found great multitasking uses to small apps with the browser, calculator, Whatsapp, Walkman, currency converter, units converter, language translator and system monitor (cpu, ram, battery temp) being the most used...

"Now we're not saying android is better then iOS or Windows" - simply cause you don't want to ruffle feathers.even if it is the obvious TRUTH. FACT
