5 things that would've made the LG V30 even more awesome

The LG V30 has just hit and it's a pretty stellar phone. Beautiful design, powerful hardware, awesome video and audio features, military-standard durability, dust- and water-resistance, and that huge display and thin bezels, of course.

As you know, we love to nit-pick. We do it for every new major phone, and we'll do it again. And, even though it was a challenge, we managed to come up with 5 things that could've made the LG V30 better. Let's take a look!

Im a fan of the V30 - but why annoy potential customers with such a poor selfie cam?, just needed last years iphone 7 Plus comparable selfie would be ok. And yeh, no bokeh effect in main camera options?. And LG will put a stupid asking price - and wonder why sales arent great?. I will now wait and see Apple announcement and just wait for V30 to drop fast in price before pulling trigger. Everything else is very good, IMO the 6" screen/size ratio is great and main camera is better than anything Samsung 2017.

You forgot about one thing: bigger camera sensors. The one in th emain cam is SMALLER than selfie cam in the U11! It's even smaller than in the G6. It's tiny! Bright optics is not enough to make up for it.

so 5 things that would make note 8 better, and 5 things that would make V30 even more awesome? nice spin. I'm not saying you are biased for LG, but bias in favor of iToys, and we both know LG is nothing compared to Samsung when its about market share, so i'm pretty sure my thinking is valid.

Get the G6 if the V30 isn't good enough for you... This is enough phone for me, and is going to have incredible audio.

Replaceable battery

These "5 Things that would've made (insert OEM Product) Better" are premature, because this opinion piece is going off of Specifications and not the actual performance of the product to conjure up these "5 things" More RAM will not change anything if the Company is too obstinate to Optimize their Software. The iPhone has 3 GBS of RAM, I have to give them credit for optimizing their Software. In short: put the phone through it's pace and see if these 5 things should be taken for an offer in their next Flagship, but right now, I don't see this as nothing more than an Insatiable Piece.

When a new phone is announced PA does about 8 different articles in about 10 minutes. Mostly just nonsense. That's why when a new phone is announced I look at GSMarena. They usually have just 1 acticle with all the info I'm looking for.

4 gigs of RAM, 5mp front camera, and a 3300mah battery. I thought those specs were to be higher.

iOS would be the biggest improvement.

Might as well put symbian on it..

Why? I want a good OS. Symbian a) doesn't exist anymore and b) isn't a good OS in comparison to iOS.

Yes... Defocused background can be done by software. No need of second cam. Finally someone said that!!!

6gb would been better unless an android phone is stock android 6gb stops the OS stuttering which it does after a few months with 4gb. Bigger battery & slightly smaller screen for smaller phone dimensions.

You are wrong. My S6 Edge is equipped with 3GB ram and performing pretty well.

You're clearly misinformed if you think RAM is the reason for the lag after a few months

At this size, 4000mAh would be a good battery size. If they can put a 3300 in the G6, it was only logical that they could put a 4000 in the V30, if they weren't so lazy.

I would take a 4000 mAh battery over a headphone jack and quad DAC every day.

Better cpu and oled to save power. No way battery would be bigger now.

Engineering. Its not that simple.

4gb of ram is more than enough nowadays. Most people just use their phones for snapchat, Facebook and other stupid apps so that they can show their faces to everyone and get fake likes. Doesn't help that most of these people have faces like a chewed toffee.

I agree, optimization is the key, not the amount of ram. The only thing I would've changed in this phone is the selfie camera, it was mediocre on the G6 and I expected them to ditch it for good.
