Improved version of the Motorola Motoroi on its way to the UK

According to Pocket-lint, their sources within Motorola hint to the telling tale that an improved version of the Motorola Motoroi is headed to the UK within the next few months. As the company is looking forward to launching a variant of the handset, the Motorola XT701, the news should raise some eyebrows as the version intended for the UK looks to offer a well rounded mix of impressive features. The rumors point for it to feature an 8-megapixel camera with a Xenon flash, support to playback & record 720p video, mini HDMI connector, and a faster processor – which all points to a somewhat fantastic multimedia packed powerhouse. To even add some spice to the UK version, it is also expected to offer the social networking friendly MOTOBLUR running on top of Android 2.1. With no word on carrier availability, pricing, or an exact release date, it'll nonetheless still provide a decent offering out of Motorola's camp – especially when it's intensive over in the multimedia department.

I have this "thing" with Motorola that I will not buy any motorola products anymore, but this phone's spec is just very nice.... I do hope it turns out shitty so I can keep my boycott against Motorola...
