HTC Desire C pops up on Vodafone web page, release imminent
Even though it has yet to be introduced officially, the HTC Desire C has been spotted on the web page of Vodafone Portugal. Photos and specs appeared briefly in the carrier's May catalog, obviously by mistake, and have since been taken down. The internet, however, was quick to notice the flop, which is why we now have evidence confirming the smartphone's rumored specs.

To start, the HTC Desire C is but an entry-level Android smartphone. It has a 3.5-inch HVGA display, a single-core processor clocked at 600MHz, and the camera on its back is of 5 megapixels. Also, only 4 gigabytes of on-board storage are available, and we really hope that a slot for microSD card is present. Nothing impressive so far, we know, but on the bright side, Android 4.0 comes standard with HTC's very own Sense UI running on top.

Pricing and availability of the HTC Desire C are still unknown, but it shouldn't be too long until we have official word from HTC regarding these details.

That's pretty weak, even for an entry level phone....

Yeah, no thanks. That doesn't even seem to be a bump up from the Wildfire S save for the screen size and the amount of internal storage available.

Nothing new. HTC has always done this with their most affordable handset. Makes a nice looking, nice feeling little phone with crappy specs that no one should have to put up with.

Is this upgrade to wildfire S or downgrade.........???? Can't they atleast put 1Ghz processor in it or dual core 800Mhz processor.............. One more thing if ICS can run on 600Mhz processor then why can't it run on Galaxy S........??? All Galaxy S owners must be feeling samsunged now........
