iPhoto for iPad: 10 days – 1 million downloads
During the announcement of the new iPad, Apple unveiled a bunch of cool new apps, and one of them was iPhoto for iOS. Basically, the app serves as an easy-to-use photo editor – with professional-quality effects, brushes, and other image modifying tools. And people seem to be quite interested in iPhoto for iOS, judging by the impressive sales figures that have been disclosed on Wednesday.

As reported by The Loop, iPhoto for iOS has been downloaded over 1 million times already. That is 1 million individual purchases over the course of only 10 days. And since the app costs $4.99 to get, this means that about $5 million in revenue have gone straight into Apple's pocket only from this iOS app.

In our iPhoto for iOS review, we pointed out that the app is not as versatile as some professional image editing tools as it does not support features like cropping or using multiple layers. On the other hand, whatever it can do, it does it well, and the interface of the app is very easy to interact with on the tablet's 9.7-inch display.

Has anyone of you tried iPhoto for iOS? If so, feel free to let us know what you think about it in the comments below.
