New iPhone XI/R/Max 2019 schematics and concept images flesh out iOS 13 and square camera kits
By now, it's clear that Apple will keep the 2019 iPhone crop's design similar to last year's edition, yet boost the camera prowess of the handsets significantly to ward off the onslaught of super zooms and wide angles, yellow pixel revolutions, and the like, that Huawei, Samsung and others are constantly coming up with.

The alleged molds of the iPhone XR, XS and XS Max's successors have leaked out (again) and if they hold water in the end, the rumored dual- or triple-camera setups in a square "island" elevated from the top left corner of the rear, may turn out credible.

As if to further solidify the expected new iPhone features and design, graphic artist Hasan Kaymak has filled in the blanks based on rumors, CAD drawings, and analyst expectations, and fleshed out the above molds in full-res 3D renders that are as pretty as they are informative of how the 2019 iPhones may look like.

The only thing he apparently didn't have time to do, is the latest rumor that the iPhone XR's successor will ship with a new color set to choose from. Meanwhile, new case schematics of the iPhone XI and XI Max, or whatever they may get called, leaked out, this time from a reliable source like Sonny Dickson, reiterating once again the expected new design.

Where there is smoke, there might be fire, too, do you like how the new iPhones may turn out to be based on all the leaked molds, case schematics and concept images below?

I was thinking the same thing! At first, they looked really bad, but now ... not as bad. Tho I still don't like them, even if they are not as bad. I think Steve wouldn't lets this kind of design out of Cupertino.

Would he let anything above a 4 inch screen out of Cupertino?

Between this hideous design and the jaw dropping Note 10, it's a no brainer. It is just obvious talent is really lacking among apple engineers.

Android hasn't released anything since it's an OS and not a manufacturer.

Wait till you see it and people started lining up again to get the latest iphone. I for sure.

What does this have to do with the fact that its ugly asf? High sales don't make an object less ugly

You are right, I wonder how much longer Apple can go on making such small changes and having people continue to rush out for the latest iphone. I have had many iphones and they are great phones but lately Apple doesn't make many changes from year to year. Last year they pretty much released the exact same phone.

All the Apple Haters saying Ugly ugly like parrots, the design doesnt matter. The camera sensor size, low light performance and camera capabilities are the mayor selling point of this phone.

So against is HATER and for is FANBOY - I thought there kinda is middle ground also! I f.e. am using android, but X and XS design I thought were nice, this, not so nice (Tho better than the first leaks). And the fact that you say, that Apple design doesn't matter, means you kinda forget the whole philosophy of Steve Jobs about excellence in craft!

Apple cornered the market on ugly or at least neck and neck with P3xl

Maybe you tell to millions of people buying an iphone for they usually become the top selling phones. See the Xr with ugly resolution?

I’m going to the be the oddball here, I actually think the “black” render looks good as does the product red. NOTE: we don’t stare at the phones rear so all will be fine. I will likely move back to Google if the Pixel 4 renders are accurate, but those that stick with Apple will get a well designed and functional device.

Apple is introducing this questionable design to differentiate the iPhone 11 from the Xs. They hope that the very vain or insecure will abandon their perfectly capable X or Xs and buy the slightly different and uglier 11 just so that everyone knows that they have the latest and greatest iPhone. Sadly, their strategy will likely work since these people feel more pride in ownership for the phones than practically anything else.

Apple Has To Design Something Different, Because There's So Many Phones That Look The Same.

That is not a camera bump anymore but a camera pad. This looks really, really terrible. I wish they would just make it thicker to flush it out more with the back.

Apple really needs to step up their game. Not excited about this phone at all. Better have something else up their sleeve this year because people will get board with them.

First of all - I hate the bump on the back ever since iPhone 6!!! But if I was to buy the new iPhone - I’d get the white one where the lenses are shown individually - it kinda explains why a big square bump is there. The black one blurs the cameras and now it seems you got a huge bump for no reason at all. I will side with those that say “just make the damn thing thicker and no hump”. Apples designs have been ugly since iPhone 6.
