If you like it, put a case on it: Apple raises all iPhone repair and replacement prices
Apple is raising prices across the board, it seems, not only with the new iPhones, but also with the latest iPads, and even with repair and replacement or AppleCare+ services. The cheapest new iPhone 8 starts at $699, compared to last year's iPhone 7 release at $649, though it does offer double the starting storage. Moreover, now all 256GB/512GB variants of the 10.5 and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models are $50 more.

Moving on from hardware pricing, AppleCare+ for the new iPhone 8 Plusm for instance, is now $149, while the same coverage for the iPhone X is set at $199. The iPhone 6s/7 Plus coverage used to be $129, but is now in line with the new iPhones' insurance. Apple has also followed this trend with the repair and replacement services it offers for all phones across the board, it seems, as you can see below.

There are no more $99 screen replacements like there were for the iPhone SE and iPhone 6, but those instead are now $30 more. The other iPhones got a $20 bump in screen replacement prices, too, so with the deductible of AppleCare a screen swap for the iPhone 8 is $178. Thus, you might want to decide if you are going to be breaking it more than once, and wrap it in cases if you know you can't be bothered caring for your phone.

But moar profitz.... Even if you want to quick charge your iPhone, you can't do it right out the box. A separate quick charge adapter has to purchased for around $50.

f**k off... are you trolling now? I can't believe this... edit: you're right... More specifically, one of three USB-C wall chargers. Apple sells 29W, 61W and 87W variants of its USB-C power adapters. Prices range from $49 to $79. https://9to5mac.com/2017/09/13/iphone-8-iphone-x-fast-charge-usb-c-buy/

It's ridiculous. This is supposed to be Apples biggest release but it seems like they just keep pumping out reasons to not buy it

They don't care. The faithful will buy it and pay whatever they ask.

You are forgetting about a separate data cable as well along with the charger which costs $25 so total $75 for fast charging. Bloody hell!!!!!
