You can now use Alexa to shop at Best Buy
2017 has been a great year for Amazon's virtual personal assistant Alexa. Straying from its original spot on the Amazon Echo smart speakers, we've seen Alexa on the HTC U11, the Huawei Mate 9 and every Moto Z and Moto Z2 handset sporting the Amazon Alexa Moto Mod. The latter, by the way, is now available from Verizon and B& H Photo, priced at $149.99. It features four microphones and batteries that will run for 15-hours.

Now, Alexa users can tap the personal assistant to do some shopping from Best Buy. To do this, they will have to add the Best Buy skill to Alexa. Once that is accomplished, users will be able to hear the big box retailer's deal of the day, and purchase it. Users can say, "Alexa, talk to Best Buy," or "Alexa, ask Best Buy about the Deal of the Day." And by saying "Alexa, ask Best Buy to research products," users can find out about any products that they are looking to buy from the electronics and appliances retailer."

Other stores like Walmart and Target already allow Alexa users to shop at these discount retailers by talking to the personal assistant. To add the Best Buy Skill to your Alexa enabled device, simply click on the sourcelink below.
