You can now buy the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus unlocked from Apple
Starting today, Apple is allowing US customers to buy its iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus unlocked (SIM-free). Previously, both new models were available only on contract, or with carrier financing.

Prices for an unlocked iPhone 6s start at $649 (16 GB model), while an unlocked iPhone 6s Plus can be purchased for as low as $749 (16 GB). If you're ordering an unlocked iPhone 6s or 6s Plus right now, regardless of color and internal memory, Apple says it can ship it in 2-3 weeks.

The unlocked iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus are offered by Apple with no nano-SIM card inside, so you'll have to get one yourself. The unlocked handsets can be used on your carrier of choice - Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, or others.

Apple already sold over 13 million new iPhones (in the opening week-end), and it will certainly continue to sell millions more around the world. Considering the fact that both the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are quite expensive (especially if you don't want the 16 GB models), would you buy them unlocked, rather than on contract?

This is stupid that no OEM never done this, flash storage is cheap as hell these days and finally premium price tag on some models would be justified

By the time that happens, file sizes will be so large that it will not be impressive. Think about it. Why would the base storage be a huge amount? No one would buy a larger version.

TSMC chipset? Check Sharp IPS? Check Hynix 2GB Ram? Check! "Okay ma according to my speculations and what BobbyBuster have said, there are no Samsung parts which means it will be okay to purchase now!"

Gotta pay an extra $50 for TSMC model. Or buy the 16GB Base model variant.

I'm more interested on the prices of 6/6plus. They are sure to nudge down a bit.

Guys, does anyone know if there are enough supplies of 6s plus to buy it without preordering (By this i mean just to go to the apple store and get one). My friend is in USA and he should buy it for me, but he doesnt have enough time for preordering it, as he is going back to our country for 5 days? Thanks in advance :D
