Wells Fargo will give you a $20 statement credit to try Apple Pay
Some retailers are not terribly pleased with Apple Pay, trying to block its customers from using Apple's new mobile pay system. Many of these retailers are involved with their own mobile payment system called CurrentC. Banks, on the other hand, are dying for people to use Apple Pay. After all, getting people to spend using their credit card is how they make money.

In order to get Apple iPhone 6 and Apple iPhone 6 Plus users to feel comfortable with Apple Pay, Wells Fargo is giving away $20 to its customers who use the service. To receive the $20 statement credit, Wells Fargo customers must complete an in-store purchase using Apple Pay, and their Wells Fargo Credit Card, before November 30th. Use a debit card or a pre-paid card, and Wells Fargo will give you a $10 statement credit instead.

As we mentioned earlier today, Apple is looking to expand the use of NFC on the iPhone as a security tool. But right now, using NFC connectivity to make paying a bill as simple as a tap, is all that Apple is trying to accomplish for now.
