VIVO to out the best phablet yet: 5.68mm frame, 6" QHD display, 3500 mAh battery, and an OIS camera
VIVO won't be satisfied with outing the thinnest smartphone on the market, it seems, the X5 Max, but is rather working on a new flagship with a rather dreamy specs sheet, too. The flagship is only known by its internal model number for now, “PD1305″, and will sport a 6" LCD screen with a 1440 x 2560 pixels Quad HD resolution, returning a 490ppi count. Needless to say, it will be powered by a blazing Snapdragon 805 quad-core chipset, and will have 3 GB of RAM inside, as well as 32 GB of storage, plus a microSD slot that takes cards up to 128 GB in size.

That's not all, though, as the leaked specs sheet touts screen-to-body ratio of 79.95%, meaning that the phablet will be pretty compact for a 6-incher. The exact dimensions are 158 x 81 x 5.68mm, which is akin to the Huawei Ascend Mate7, for instance, but thinner, and the weight is just 162g, meaning that this will be both the thinnest flagship and the lightest 6" phablet out there when it lands, period.

The new VIVO wonder is also said to feature a 13 MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, and optical images stabilization, as well as a hearty 8 MP frontal camera with wide-angle lens. As usual, the phone maker includes its signature Hi-Fi experience, as the phablet will have a ES9018 DAC sound processor, and a Texas Instruments OPA2604 Operational Amplifier inside. Last but not least, VIVO has managed to stuff a 3500 mAh juicer into that ultrathin frame, which bodes well for the battery life, despite the QHD panel. Sounds pretty good, and, knowing VIVO, that PD1305 handset should be as elegant as its Xshot handset you see in the thumbnail picture, and as pricey, too.
