Update to Instagram beta for Windows 10 adds translucency to the Live Tile and more
An update to the Instagram beta for Windows 10 brings a translucent look to the app's Live Tile and adds the ability to log into a Facebook account. The in-app camera has been updated and now allows the user to tap on the screen to focus in on different areas of an image. Some users claim that the update makes the app scroll faster with zippier and smoother animation. Overall, the Windows 10 Mobile version of the app has a strong resemblance to the iOS version.

Speaking about Windows 10 Mobile, as we told you earlier today, it appears that 50% of the active Windows Phone handsets won't be receiving the update. That figure is based on the number of users that a certain model still has. For example, the Nokia Lumia 520 is the most used Windows Phone in existence, but the entry-level handset will end its days running on Windows Phone 8.1.

If you're interested in the Instagram beta for Windows 10 Mobile, all you need to do is click on the sourcelink and install the app. By the way, the Instagram beta is free. The picture sharing app is considered one of the better social media sites and odds are that you have quite a number of friends that use it.
