UPDATED:Touch Pro2 back in stock at Verizon?
Good news for Verizon customers. A tipster has informed us that Big Red has replenished its stock of the HTC Touch Pro2 after selling out its inventory rather quickly, as we reported more than 3 weeks ago. The Windows Mobile monster has great features and specs and with a price $150 lower than what T-Mobile and Sprint are selling their version of the phone for, Verizon managed to quickly sell out of its' inventory. Unlike some other HTC phones sold by the wireless operator, the handset was not crippled. Considering that the first shipment sold like hotcakes (try viewing a YouTube video on your IHOP chocolate chip pancakes), if you're interested in the handset, it might be best not to dawdle.

Thanks to our anonymous tipster!

*UPDATE*

No sooner did Verizon get some new inventory of the HTC Touch Pro2, then the model gets sold out all over again! The fact that Big Red is pricing the phone for $150 less than Sprint and T-Mobile might have something to do with this, as well as the fact that the handset has great features for both enterprise and consumer use. For those Verizon customers who were shut out again, better luck next time. As a footnote, the models that were shipped all came with Windows Mobile 6.1 which means that Big Red was not deliberately holding back inventory to wait for units loaded with the newer Windows Mobile 6.5.
