The speaker grille for the tablet, spotted on the bottom of the shell, would seem to put the kibosh on any rumors that Apple will employ front-facing speakers on the tablet. You might note that instead of the double row of speaker holes found in the Apple iPad Air, the sequel will have just one row, hinting at a thinner tablet.

The Apple iPad Air 2 is expected to include the Touch ID fingerprint scanner, embedded in the home button. An earlier leak back in June, showed the bottom portion of the front of the tablet, which revealed the unmistakable Touch ID button. Additionally, the Apple A8 processor is expected to be running the show.
