New Nokia 3310 goes official with incredible battery life and a new version of Snake

Nokia just brought brought back one of the most — if not the most — legendary mobile phone ever from its long, long retirement. Say hello to the new Nokia 3310!

It's truly a modern classic reborn, as the company puts it, in the most literal way imaginable. The new 3310 is a lot like its predecessor, in that it boasts incredible battery life (22 hours of talk time and a month of stand-by), and it also plays Snake! The version of the legendary game that comes pre-loaded on the device is not a carbon copy of the original, however, so keep this in mind if you're planning on buying the new 3310 just for it.

The new Nokia 3310 looks a lot like its grandfather and sports a similar egg-shaped design with an almost identical keypad below the screen. It also offers nothing in the way of Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS, apps, or any other "smart" features that we've become used to in the past decade or so. It has a 2MP camera on the back though!

The new Nokia 3310 will be available in four colors —  Warm Red, Yellow (both with gloss finish), and Dark Blue and Gray (with matte finish) — and will be available globally in Q2 of this year starting at €49.

Yellow is okay because you have other colors. Nokia is also about personalization, and quality and durability so even you can get the color you want :)

Hugely disappointed wit the modern iteration of 3310. Itls not even close to that nostalgic feel i was anticipating. should have stayed with the classic ol' design.

You are not disappointed at all, you just haven't touch it yet in your hands to see its magic.

I do not want to "touch" it to it remember all the memories I have associated with 3310, i just needed to look at it to do so. It can be called an evolved version of their already existing feature phones but definitely not THE Nokia 3310.

Me too. Its far from resurrection. Looks like a cheaper version of 331o. I have Nokia 150 I think it has if not more to offer terms of money for value .

Wonder if this even works in US. It doesn't have the 1900 band for T-Mobile, and AT&T has shut down 2G. Anyone know?

Ouch! That design. Haha! HMD just wasted their time on that phone. It's an insult to the designer of the original 3310. Lols!

Make a 3310 flagship version with SD 835, Carl Zeiss lens, and Xenon flash.
