T-Mobile to get touch Samsung with 5MP camera?
Earlier rumors on upcoming 3G markets for T-Mobile USA also started the speculations on the new phones the carrier will offer. In addition to the TM506 and the Dream, there were also talks of an upcoming 5-megapixel Samsung handset.
TmoNews reader sent a few spy pictures, claiming this is a new model for the U.S. carrier. Samsung T919, aka Tocco aka Roxy is very similar in design to the European F480 that we reviewed earlier but will have slightly different specifications. It is said to feature T-Mobile 3G (AWS), 5-megapixel camera, GPS with voice commands (similar to the Instinct), and microSD slot. This one seems to be larger than the F480, also housing a wider display. Its interface seems similar (colorful but not our favorite), but is not exactly the same, so we can hope that it will be improved.
