T-Mobile gives you $100 if you buy an iPhone and iPad together

Starting today, T-Mobile is offering a $100 prepaid MasterCard card to customers who buy an iPhone and iPad together. The promotion includes the iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPad Air, and iPad mini with Retina display, so you have 4 combinations to choose from in order to get $100 back.

T-Mobile doesn’t say when the promotion will end, but John Legere, the carrier’s CEO, was quick to point out on Twitter that this is the “first deal of its kind.”

It looks like the deal is available both in stores, and online - at least that’s what T-Mobile’s official website is suggesting. The deal is certainly a sweet one for all customers who are looking to buy new iOS-based tablets and smartphones from T-Mobile. However, lots of Apple fans are probably waiting for the next-generation iPhone(s) to be unveiled, and may not be interested in getting any of the models from last year. The next-gen iPhone, expected to be called iPhone 6, will likely be officially announced (and launched) this September.
