Stylish Huawei P8: all the snazzy new features
Huawei's P8 announcement elevated the company to an Apple and Samsung level this year, when it comes to craftsmanship, specs, and, above all, price. Advertised as a mixture of ‘advanced technology and sophisticated design’, the new flagship packs Huawei's fresh HiSilicon Kirin 930 system chip with an octa-core CPU running at up to 2 GHz, or a Kirin 935 clocked at 2.2 GHz in the case of the "premium" P8 with 64 GB storage. There's also 3 GB of RAM on board, and 16 gigs of internal storage, along with a memory card slot.

The Huawei P8 features Android 5.0 Lollipop with a refreshed EMUI 3.1 custom user interface by Huawei. The interesting thing about this new skin is that it gets support for knuckle gestures, as opposed to regular taps: double tap with your knuckle to capture a screenshot, and draw with your knuckle to crop out screenshots. The flagship Huawei P8 16 GB base model will go on sale in Europe in May 2015 with a starting price of 499 euro (~$530) off contract, much more affordable than devices from Samsung and Apple. The 64 GB 'premium' offering will be sold at 599 euro. Here are all the new features you can expect from it:
