Starbucks now offers a stand alone emoji keyboard for iOS and Android
Starbucks has released an emoji keyboard for both iOS and Android users. The stand-alone app can be found at the App Store or Google Play Store, respectively. As you might imagine, these emoji are all Starbucks related. There are Starbucks cups, a Starbucks storefront, a purple unicorn (and a cat) enjoying a Starbucks hot beverage, the Starbucks logo and more.

The coffee purveyor says that it will add more emoji based on actual Starbucks drinks for use on the keyboard over the year. The official announcement about the keyboard was made on Starbucks' official Starbucks News Twitter page. The Starbucks emoji keyboard app will work with iMessage, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, several email apps and more.

The company that developed the app, Snaps, produces mobile marketing products such as emoji keyboards, photobooths, and messaging avatars. The company counts some of the world's most famous brands as clients, and that now includes Starbucks. If you're interested in installing the keyboard, click on the appropriate link below.

Instead of working on a stupid keyboard, they should get the bugs out of their own mobile app. The new app sucks and doesn't work right. Also they should add their own Android Wear app support instead of using third part apps. Who the hell cares about a keyboard app from Starbucks.
