Staples cutting BlackBerry PlayBook price to $199 for a Black Friday deal

Staples is having a Black Friday sale on the BlackBerry PlayBook

A leaked flyer for office retail chain Staples reveals that the store plans on offering the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet for $199 on November 25th. The chain recently cut their regular everyday price for the 7 inch tablet to $299 early last month. Originally, the 16GB Wi-Fi only tablet was priced at $499 when it was launched.

As you might expect, there are some rules that prospective buyers must follow. First, the deal will be offered at stores only, not online. Also, the special price is available for just one tablet per customer. As part of Staple's "Door-Buster" sales, the $199 price will start at 6am and run until noon on Black Friday.

The BlackBerry PlayBook has been plagued by poor sales and the lack of some important native apps like a calendar and email, although a February update is expected to remedy this situation.
