Special CyanogenMod edition Oppo N1 to be the first to run CM out of the box

Earlier today Chinese premium phone manufacturer Oppo came out with a press release, announcing that come December, a limited CyanogenMod edition of its N1 phablet will be made available for the international audience.

Running CyanogenMod's custom ROM out of the box, the special edition will retain its current price tag of about $580. Apart from the usual tweaks and extra features that come with CM, the team behind it has also done some work in order to integrate into it all the special functions that the giant Oppo N1 has to offer, like the O-Touch rear touch panel, the rotating camera and the O-Click Bluetooth remote control along with some features taken straight from Oppo's very own Color ROM.

Apart from the extra perk of running on the highly-customizable CM, adopters of the special edition Oppo N1 will also get the giant phablet in a unique packaging, CyanogenMod stickers and a special case featuring both CM's and Oppo's mascots, Cid and Ollie.

This is the first time that the CyanogenMod has landed a deal such as this, and it'll be interesting to see what else the newly-incorporated company has in storage in the years to come.

That camera is good idea to turn it around but would have looked better if it locked in perfectly. Turn it around and it would look like one solid front part.
