Sony Xperia ZU phablet scores more than the Snapdragon 800 Galaxy S4, breaks every record

50comments

Sony's Xperia ZU phablet is expected to be unveiled very soon, and be the first brand-name device with the scorching fast Snapdragon 800 chipset, unless Korean versions of the Galaxy S4 with the same processor don't beat it to market.

Needless to say, the quad-core Snapdragon 800 blasts everything out there when it comes to synthetic benchmarks, and will probably blur the line between tablets, phones and basic notebooks even further. This was confirmed by the leaked S4 benchies earlier and is now reiterated with a leaked screenshot from AnTuTu, which show 31491 points.

Now a screenshot of the Sony Xperia ZU has leaked on a dedicated forum thread, displaying the record-breaking 32173 AnTuTu points, which makes us really long to see the handset in action. Next Tuesday is not far off, so we should know more about the ZU then, unless Sony decides to announce it beforehand.
