Sony Xperia E3 to join the Z3 at IFA 2014 this week?

While we’re all expecting Sony to announce the Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact, and Z3 Compact Tablet later this week at IFA 2014, the Berlin trade show may also be the place where the company will showcase a smartphone that we haven’t heard of until now.
According to 9to5Google, the Z3 line will be accompanied by an Xperia E3, which should be a relatively affordable handset. The E3 will be the successor to Sony’s Xperia E and Xperia E1 (seen above). Reportedly, its features include a 4.8-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels, 1.5 GB (or 2 GB) of RAM, and a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz. Android 4.4 KitKat will most probably be on board. It’s said that the E3 might cost between $200 and $300, and, unlike the devices included in the Z3 series, it won’t be water-resistant.
All in all, it looks like Sony will have quite many things to show us at IFA. Alongside new smartphones and tablets, the company may also announce a SmartWatch 3 and a SmartBand Talk.

What? Sony's E series has always contained a low end devices, so why does it have a 4.8 720p screen and quad core processor?

Whatever, the Americans will just go for the full size Z3 since it's big and has higher numbers than the Z2.

The specs are decent but, Why not s4 pro or 600 with adreno320? Always s400. S400 is last year's midranger, so it could be low-end now.and s4 pro or s600 is a highend last year, now it is great to use it in midranger devices today:)
