CES 2018 is already upon us: Sony already spilt the beans on a whole lot of three new budget devices - the Xperia L2, the Xperia XA2, and the Xperia XA2 Ultra - but that's totally not it for today. LG, Samsung, BlackBerry, and Sony itself are also on today's schedule.

Granted, Sony has already revealed three new devices, so we shouldn't really collectively hold our breaths for another device.

Or shouldn't we? After all, this is Sony we're talking about, and it never fails to surprise with an unexpected device launch that comes out of nowhere... As usual, we have a tiny sliver of hope that Sony could unveil a new or at least a refreshed version of a high-end device it has in its lineup.

The only way to find out is to watch its livestream, which will kick off at 5:00 PM PST. Sony CEO Kaz Hirai will be headlining the event which will be streamed live on the company's official website. Of course, we will embed it as soon as it's live.
