Screenshots of KitKat are unwrapped, show UI changes on dialer, messaging page and more
Nowadays, the mere glance at a KitKat wrapper is enough for the typical smartphone fanatic to immediately think about the Android OS and build 4.4. What we have for you here is much better than just the wrapper of a KitKat. What we have below for you to stare at are a few screenshots of the KitKat build of Android.
The other day, we showed you the new keyboard design for KitKat which now has a gray/white color scheme. The dialer now has a snappy blue color and a much less cluttered design. The messages page has the controls moved to the upper right corner and a view of the home screen shows new icons for text messages and the dialer.
We could see KitKat released next month, possibly alongside the revised Google Nexus 10. There's a story right there. Will it be Samsung or Asus producing the slate? Just the other day, a leaked inventory list suggested that Asus will get the honor.
