Samsung takes $100 off the Verizon Galaxy Note 9, throws in a free Duo Charger and case

Over at Samsung's U.S. website, the manufacturer has a deal on the Verizon variant of the Galaxy Note 9. Use Verizon's device payment plan and Sammy will instantly chop $100 off the price, dropping the cost of the 128GB Galaxy Note 9 to $899.99 ($37.50/month for 24 months). The 512GB version is reduced to $1149.99 ($47.91/month). In addition, Samsung is also tossing in a couple of freebies.

Hmmm, may be nothing, may just be a bit of generosity, but it is usually not a good sign when such extra deals are provided so early after a flagship phones initial release...

I think Samsung expected this. There is no reason Note 9 will sell better than the S9+, maybe the larger battery but that's not really enough. However, they need to dump the Note 9 as quickly as possible and make way for the S10 series which will probably presented much earlier than usual.

This is bad! Must be not selling well that’s why need to have 100 off. Anyway this phone will be $700 in the following months due to luckluster sale of Note 9 like the galaxy 9. RIP notes and galaxies, chinese and apple are eating your pie. Last quarter, they ate down by 10M units, then it be like that in the next years.

Yeah, no. Not interested in paying $1000 for a phone, period. That means the iPhone X with its yesteryear features is a no go. I value the note 9 at release for $650 so that is all I will pay. As for cheap Chinese junk with spyware, PASS.
