Samsung showcases the highlights of the Galaxy S6 edge in 60 seconds
Do you think you've seen enough Galaxy S6 promo videos and commercials? Even if the answer is yes, Samsung has yet another video that it's hoping everyone will watch.

Titled "S6 in :60", said video showcases the main selling points of the Galaxy S6 edge in 60 seconds, starting with its metal and glass construction, and the fact that it's the world's first handset to sport a dual curve display. The video then goes on to present some of the features that are included on the S6 edge thanks to the dual curve screen, also talking about the two cameras, and the battery that's found inside the smartphone.

You can check out the new Galaxy S6 edge video below. Do you think Samsung should have mentioned other features of the handset during these 60 seconds, or are the ones included exactly those that matter?

If you want to take a closer and more detailed look at Samsung's latest flagship smartphone, make sure to check out our Galaxy S6 edge review.

placing your phone upside down to see the reflection of the edge on the surface so you know who's calling has more cons than pros... first and most important, your display will get scratch, no matter how clean the surface may be, second, why would anybody want to see the color reflection when you can simply see the photo and the name from the person calling... this is just gimmick and absurd

The software currently implemented is a gimmick. The curved screen, however, is a great tadvancement in OLED screen technologies. In future generations the screen will cover even more space and maybe then it will have much more usefulness in a software that greatly increases productivity in the phone

Your attemp at making the phone look dumb failed. People won't purposely place their phone face down you idiot, everytime someone has their phone screen down is in a bed, a couch, or a car that has soft surfaces. Sometime I get home and throw my phone on the couch, the bed, or leave it on top of a table. Sometimes I forget to turn off silent mode so I have no idea that someone is calling me until I see the screen light up from far. In either case, the curved screen is real innovation that has potential to expand to my areas. Try again hater.

Ever heard of screen protectors? Yes it is a gimmicky unnecessary feature. Does that mean i shouldn't have it? Lots of gadgets have lots of bell and whistles. Do you use every feature on a smart tv? Do you use every single feature in your car? Do you use every single feature of your phone or tablet? The iPhone for example costs more and it can't do half the things the S6 can. So if I can have all the bells and whistles for the same price, whay is that a problem. If I wanted a lame featureless phone, I would buy a smartphone at all. I can just have a tablet and a decent flip phone for $9.00 per month. The display might get scratched...if the fool isnt dumb enough to get a screen protector knowing they plan to use that feature then if it gets scratched so be it. Many people scratch them phones in their pockets, purses and putting it in the consoles of their cars. If you dont cover the screen its gonna scratch. Its not gonna happen any sonner simply because you might place the phone upside down. Most people place their phone upside down by their beds, so if the screen comes on with a notification, the bright light won't awake them from sleep. This isnt a feature that is needed, but it can be useful. Just because it is a gimmick, doesn't mean it cant be a useful one. After all you all claimed split screens and high res displays were all gimmicks, until the precious iPhone got it and now you're so in love.

Here is a fact for you. Whether it happens in our lifetime or not, one day smartphone are going to have a dual screen which wraps around the whole phone. Will you complain then? Geez. Idea can grow from some other ideas. Someone can see we can do this and maybe take the next step and make it a very useful thing. Everything new doesnt have to have a high degree of usage to be useful. The Mac is useful and it doesnt have a high degree of usage. Its gimmick is getting you to pay 40% more for the same hardware with limitations; just to get a fancy case that provides no benefit beyond aesthetics, doesn't mean you shouldn't have it if you want it and find it useful, no matter what I may think about it. Do you get a girlfriend or wife, by finding someone that has only the things you like? Or is it a plus if you can get what you like and get some extras at no extra cost? Think about it. Stop crapping on my features because your phone doesnt have it. The iPhone for example, has features my phone doesnt have, but I dont crap on it for that reason. I crap on it because it should have far more based on what it costs.

I present to you the status icon version of the S6 with useless edges.

The battery is total crap, screw quick charging, the edge makes you a wall hugger. Mine comes off the charger at 3:45am, and by 12:15pm its at 20ish%, with minimal usage. I use my 6 plus for all the heavy hitting, YouTube, asphalt 8, etc. Thanx a lot Samsung.

That's pretty awful. There's definitely something wrong with your Edge Did you see what actually is sucking up battery in battery usage list ? Also, install greenify and see if you get a difference.

I even turned off several gesture sensors, seems to just be bad battery life. 2550 milli amp pushing QHD, and 8 cores just doesn't cut it. I have 9 more days to decide whether to keep it or not. I may just get a note 4, which from what I hear still runs the old version of TW, or just return it and get a note 5.

the note 4 has been a fantastic phone for me. i've had it since it was released. I was worried about the battery life on the S6 due to being a small battery. I've heard both good battery and bad battery... between that issue and no micro sd/removable battery I decided to sit this samsung out. I'll wait to see what the note 5 brings before deciding on another phone... I have a nexus 6 and note 4 currently.

I may return it and wait for the note 5 as well. The edge is the mist beautiful phone to me, and the camera and screen are simply amazing. My main gripe is the battery life. Couple other small ones, but nothing major. It does heat up pretty good with heavy useage, and it's not too comfortable to hold when hot, but I like it.

Uninstall Google now and retest, also, most battery problems are linked to Google 5.0 and not the s6 edge

right.... how dare him have anything but praise for a phone... maybe it's because he isn't sucking on google's OS balls like most fandroids on this site.

If you know I only have an iPhone 4, then what's the color, storage capacity, carrier, and where did I buy it? Don't hate, cause I make enough money to afford 2 flagships and you don't. I loved my iPhone 4, that I bought in 2010 lol. Great phone for it's time.

I installed greenify, but several app have that little blue gcm mesaage, that says Google cloud messages use something for push notifications and that it won't work anymore, if greenified. I use an espn widget, an email wodget, a music player widget, and the weather and clock widget. It seems using greenify might dull the user experience that I love about the phone.

There is nothing wrong with his Edge. I see similar. I pull my Edge off the charger at 730AM. I dont make or receive very many calls. I mostly get texts. Takes me an hour to get to work most days. By noon its at maybe 60%. By the time I go home its at 20% sometimes. Some days it seems to do really good, some days its seems bad. So I am gonna let it totally die, recharge it and let it die again and charge it again to re calibrate the batt. I am spoiled by my Note 4. I got 2 days of usage from a single charge. I recall my S3 lasted roughly a work day or so, but I havent had an S since then. My wife had the S5 and I recall it would be beeping it needs charging around 4PM. But she installed a lot of junk too.

I don't why he thinks I'm lying, it's just a phone. It's not like I'm here saying I have a Lambo, and a C7 ZO6. I have a 6 plus and and s6 edge, two lines, two phones. Love em both, the iPhone has a boring UI, and the edge has weak Battery life. What's so hard to believe about that?

All Apple users are the same in his eyes, maybe he thinks that everyone who owns an iPhone is surely a fanboy. It's hard to understand people nowadays lol.

I'm not this blind fanboy he thinks I am. I love tech, and will buy what I want. I fell in love with the edge, and added a line to get it. I just went into settings and turned off some scanning features in wifi, switched location scanning to GPS only, so we'll see. I like how you get to location settings by pressing the icon in quick settings. Loving my edge AnTuTu lol.

Same here, I love tech and I buy whatever works for me regardless of brand. I really like the edge too, but I don't think it's impractical for me to jump from the Note 4 lol.

Nope, sadly still on the old TW. Rumors say that the Note 4 will get the new TW with the 5.1 update, hopefully that's true.

Oh really? I have Note 4 and still running KitKat. I used for browsing here in PhoneArena, GSMArena, Watch Video, Facebook, WhatsApp,,com in a normal used and the battery life 'till 6 hours hours. And my iPhone 6 get 5 hours battery life. Your a trolll to say that it take 2 days in a single charged.

Have you tried Vain Glory on the iPhone? Definitely my favorite game on both platforms, bringing true mobile gaming to the market, aside from Asphalt. Give it a go! It's free, and very in depth!
