Samsung Gear S2 pre-orders begin at Verizon, watch to launch at T-Mobile November 15th
Verizon has started accepting pre-orders today, for the cellular-enabled version of the Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch. Priced at $299.99 with a signed two-year contract, or $349.99 off-contract, the watch can be added to your Verizon plan for $5 month. That will allow the Gear S2 to access the monthly allocation of talk, text and data that you pay for. Verizon will start shipping the watch on November 6th, which is when they also will be offered inside Big Red's stores.
T-Mobile is skipping the pre-ordering process and is going straight to sales, which start on November 15th. That happens to be exactly one month from today. The timepiece will be available at T-Mobile locations, and from the carrier's website. The Samsung Gear S2 will be priced at $0 down (for well qualified customers) and $15 a month for 23 months. On the 24th month, you pay $14.99. The retail price is $359.99. T-Mobile customers will be able to add the Gear S2 to their existing plan for $5 a month, which includes unlimited talk, text and data (500MB of high-speed data).

The Samsung Gear S2 is powered by Tizen, and uses a rotating outer bezel to navigate. It is offered in Dark Gray and Silver. If you want to pair it with your Android phone, we have previously published a list of non-Samsung phones that are compatible with the watch. Of course, the device pairs with Samsung Galaxy handsets.
