Samsung Galaxy S8 in Burgundy Red will be launched on November 28

Samsung revealed earlier this month plans to launch a red version of its Galaxy S8 flagship. The smartphone would make its debut in South Korea at some point and will have the same features (and cost) as the other color variants.
Today, South Korean media reports the Burgundy Red version of Samsung Galaxy S8 will be available for purchase in the country on November 28. Also, it appears that the handset maker hasn't yet decided whether or not the smartphone will be made available worldwide, but it's a possibility.
The Galaxy S8 in Burgundy Red will make its debut in South Korea just four days after Apple's iPhone X, but it's hard to believe it will have any influence on the latter's sales. In that regard, all three major carriers in the country announced that iPhone X was sold out in just a few minutes after pre-orders opened last week.
The Burgundy Red is likely to be the last color variation of the Galaxy S8 since Samsung plans to unveil its next flagship, the Galaxy S9, slightly earlier next year.

Why in almost every Android or Samsung article is the iPhone X brought into the equation? I mean it's a 4 paragraph article on the new colour of a Samsung phone and one paragraph is about the X, It's the same throughout the site almost as if they just can't help it. And i'm not even a Samsung fan but it really is getting ridiculous.

Come on Samsung, how hard is it to release a good variety of colors at launch? Then to make things worse, not know if you want to make it a worldwide release.

It's not hard. It's done purposefully to try to spur sales later down the road.
