Samsung Galaxy Note II, Galaxy S III mini to come in more colors soon
According to an anonymous tipster, Samsung is about to sprinkle several members of its Galaxy lineup with a dash of color. There are two smartphones bound to be given a makeover, namely the Samsung Galaxy Note II and the Samsung Galaxy S III mini, the source claims.

The Galaxy Note II, which is currently available in either titanium gray or marble white, will also come in Amber Brown, Topaz Blue and Ruby Wine. Units sporting the new hues are planned to go on sale next year. Three new color variants of the Galaxy S III mini are being planned as well. These include Titan Gray, Garnet Red and Onyx Black. If the source is to be trusted, the new variants will be on the market before the year's end, or in Q1 of 2013 at the latest.

Now, we have to highlight the fact that this is just a rumor, but it seems like a quite plausible one to us. The Samsung Galaxy S III, for example, launched in two colors only, yet new options were introduced several months later. If the above rumor holds water, the new color variants should be on display at MWC2013 in Barcelona.

I wonder how the Topaz Blue is different than the Pebble Blue or if it is at all.

Why do the dummies wait for months to bring out various colors? Makes no sense.

And, even worse, where are the 32GB and 64GB versions of the Note 2?

Absolutely agree. Im alrdy locked into a contract with this boring gray Note 2, how can I possibly get a new color next year? These things need to be released at the same time, Samsung. And please dont market worldwide that you will have a 64gb version and then keep it only in Korea. I love your products but that is just false advertising.

This is becoming old news with all manufacturers, especially Sammy.

If you jump on the phone at release, you'll get it in limited colors.. wait a bit and you'll be rewarded.

Don't blame Sammy for wanting to issue the phone with the most popular colors, then add additional as they can.

having said that.. I will say it would be nice if manufacturers would let us know that other colors are coming.. along with battery options like Moto and their Razor.. oh wait.. Razor maxx!

i've been eyeing the pink S3 @ korea for months now... i really wish they would release all the colors at the same time!! (although its understandable they would wait to see if the device is successful 1st -_ - ..is that why?)

I wonder why samsung decides to release these new colors months after the device was launched when they can release them all at the same time...

Um, this isn't hard to figure out. By doing this, they keep the model in the news after the initial release fervor, and make sales to people who are more interested in style than the Note's amazing specs.

If you have already been enjoying this amazing hardware, but want a different color, just get a $2 cover on ebay--in whatever flavor you like. Plus, you will get better texture (grip), and protection for your expensive GN2.

In fact, buy 5 different colors of cases, and rotate through them. Your stylistic friends will be stunned and amazed. (Yes, that's a bit of sarcasm.)
