Samsung Galaxy Note 9 colors allegedly revealed: five variants in the works

Unlike the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ which were released in four different colors earlier this year, Samsung looks set to expand the number of Galaxy Note 9 colors to a total of five. Among these will be the return of the Midnight Black variant alongside a slightly lighter Lilac Purple offering that could be called Lavender. Additionally, a darker Titanium Gray model is set to be released next to an unnamed electric blue Galaxy Note 9. Also, completing the lineup will be a new brown color. 

Currently, only the black, purple, and gray variants are confirmed to be launching, with these likely being the most widely available models. In terms of the remaining color options, though, Samsung is reportedly still undecided but, if they do launch, the two models will most likely act as exclusives to certain markets or carriers. 

For those unaware, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is expected to offer an aluminum frame sandwiched between two glass panels, with the front one being adorned by a dual-edge 6.4-inch display. When it comes to the internal aspect, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 will power the US variant, while the international model will replace this with Samsung’s own Exynos 9810 Octa. In any case, 6GB of RAM is to be expected alongside the option of 64GB, 128GB, or 256GB of internal storage that should be expandable via microSD.

On the topic of availability, Samsung’s next flagship looks set to be unveiled in New York towards the beginning of August with shipments commencing by the end of the month.
