Samsung will soon announce a Galaxy S9 and a Galaxy S9+, but that doesn't mean the company wants customers to stop purchasing its current smartphones. That being said, following a wave of Galaxy-related deals that have been available lately, Samsung now has another offer to buyers of its high-end phones: the company is giving away Gear Icon X (2018) fitness earphones (normally priced at $199.99) for free.
Gear IconX earbuds, you can buy any of the following Samsung phones (either unlocked, or on a carrier*): Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, or Galaxy S8 Active. This deal is available until March 1, only via the Shop Samsung App and on Samsung's official US website - see the source link below. To get yourself a free pair of
The Gear IconX earphones are wireless, feature touch controls, and have their own built-in memory - so you can listen to music even without relying on your smartphone. The earbuds are compatible not just with Samsung Galaxy devices, but also with Apple iOS ones, as well as with most Android phones and tablets running at least Android 4.4.

hopefully they aren't just trying to increase the number of Bluetooth headphones out there in order to justify a headphone jack free S10+ I want an S10 which adds a bigger battery and the IR Blaster (even though I know the IR Blaster obviously won't come back, maybe i'll switch from Samsung after 5 years)

Another half-baked product made by Samsung, which no-one didn't buy and now they have to give them free, just like gear VR and many others.

Well obviously Samsung wouldn’t give them to customers who buy a flagship phone if they sold like hotcakes. This is a smart way for them to build hype around their earbuds.I like AKG earphones that you get with galaxy s8 and use them with my new iphone x.

I actually prefer these to the Airpods. They work better with an iPhone, than Airpods work with my Note 8, and they have quite a bit more functionality. Airpods case has lnger battery life though, but I opted to keep my iconx and return my Airpods. I also like that they are louder, since they're in the ear canal with a seal, and never fall out during my HIIT workout or cardio. I use them in the gym, and as a regular bluetooth. One of my favorite features, is not needing the AI assistant, or phone to increase/decrease the volume, just slide your finger up or down. Good product.
