Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) starts receiving Android 7.0 Nougat update

Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) starts receiving Android 7.0 Nougat update

After months of waiting, the cheapest smartphone in the Galaxy A (2017) series is finally getting Android 7.0 Nougat update. Back in May, Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) was spotted at GFXBench running a new version of Android, but it took the South Korean company more than two months to actually start pushing the update.

If you happen to live in Russia, then you'll be among the first to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update for Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017). Actually, the rollout began on July 26, so many Galaxy A3 (2017) users should have already received the update.

Keep in mind that this is a relatively sizable download since the update weighs in at 2.21, so make sure you have enough free storage before attempting to update. Along with all the nifty features that Android 7.0 Nougat brings, Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) owners will also get the July security patch.

We're fairly convinced that the rollout of Android 7.0 Nougat update for Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) will expand to more countries in the coming weeks, so make sure you check if it's available it from time to time.

Wish they sold this phone in the States, I'd give it an honest try.

Get the right version, the A320-Y and you'll be good. It has all of the right bands, but no band 12.

That's what I have.

I would feel better buying a phone that is made for the country I'm in, not missing bands.

I can understand that. I also own an iPhone SE, which I changed from to this. No regrets but holding on that in case something was to happen to this phone.

If you are on AT&T/Cricket, it has band 17 as well.

I thought the Brazilians were the only ones who did not have this device.
I believe it will be released, at least in Brazil, in September, along with the Galaxy J7 Pro 2017.

I haven't receive the update yet. Anybody has any idea when the complete range of A3 2017 will receive it?
