Rejoice, couch potatoes, Intel has made a great remote keyboard app for Android
There is no shortage of remote keyboard and trackpad apps in the Play Store, but Intel still decided to throw its hat in the ring, and actually create one of the best we've seen so far. Named simply Intel Remote Keyboard, the app requires the respective desktop software to be installed, as they all do, and that both your computer and your Android device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Afterwards, it's all smooth sailing, as Intel's remote keyboard app not only connects seamlessly with your computer when in range, but offers both portrait and landscape modes, with the latter offering the much needed arrow keys. The mock touchpad offers gesture control, such as one tap to recreate a left mouse click, two taps for a right click, and finger slide for scrolling up or down - it doesn't get much easier than that.
While Intel didn't have plans to help your Popcorn streaming sessions from the couch, but has actually created the Remote Keyboard app for the NUC and Compute Stick devices, the resulting app is one of the best you can use for managing your Windows sessions from afar in the easiest way possible.
