Side-by-side, the new Razer looks nearly identical to the old model as both models carry a 5.7-inch display. But the sequel has thicker bezels than the original Razer Phone
, the opposite of what has been happening in the industry. We do expect to see the new version powered by the Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform, and carry 512GB of native storage. In addition the high-end handset will have Android 9 Pie pre-installed. There is no reason not to expect the sequel to have the same 120Hz refresh rate for the display found in the original. That zippy rate allows games and visual media to run very smoothly. And the 4000mAh battery that keeps the lights burning on the first-gen Razer, should find its way into the sequel.
The Razer Phone 2 will be unveiled on October 10th
