Niantic issued their long-awaited Pokemon Go update the other day, introducing a bunch of new baby Pokemons to chase. Well, not exactly chase, but hatch from eggs, which is a bit disappointing, considering it's winter in this hemisphere, plus 10km eggs aren't exactly easy to obtain, and some of those puppies come from them.
To soothe your pains, Niantic has spread out the holiday cheer with a lot more Pikachus up for grabs everywhere, and if you catch those buddies before December 29, you will get a nice little visual bonus. Yes, we are talking about the Santa hat you see on Pikachu's head, and even if you evolve the critter into a Raichu, the red hat stays, that sneaky Linux fan.
