PlayStation Video app for Android TV released in the Google Play

5comments

The PlayStation Video application for Android phones and tablets is available in the Google Play for quite a while. Today, Sony expanded the reach of PlayStation Video to Android TV.

Android TV owners can now search for the PlayStation Video app in the Google Play and decide whether to download it or not. The application allows you to buy or rent movies, as well as stream favorite movies and shows directly on your Android TV.

With PlayStation Video, you also have access to PS Video library, but you'll also be able to access your PS3 and PS4 systems. It's worth pointing out that whenever you decide to buy or rent a movie, you'll be paying it directly through the app, so you'll be skipping any middleman.

Naturally, Sony won't be charging you anything for using PlayStation Video app, so you can go ahead and install it on your Android TV if you have one. Keep in mind though that movie and TV content is subject to availability and may vary across regions.
