Pictures of gold Apple iPhone 6 leak; is this the real thing?
Less than two hours remain before the start of the Apple event that will lead to the introduction of the Apple iPhone 6, and possibly other devices like the Apple iPhone 6 Plus. With the clock ticking toward showtime, photos have leaked showing the gold colored 4.7 inch Apple iPhone 6 from different angles. Sure, we could continue to question the validity of the pictures, but at this stage, it looks like we are viewing the actual device. It wouldn't hurt to be a little bit cynical, just in case these photos are faked.

If this is the actual look of the iPhone 6, it matches perfectly with a leak we showed you back in March, that was disseminated by a Foxconn insider. Pictures revealed the back of the iPhone looking very much like the back of the phone photographed below. In addition, a photo showing the phone's design on a computer screen, revealed the protruding camera that apparently is part of the new iPhone model.

Take a look at the images below and keep your eyes right here. Our live blog will bring you all of the information you want to know about today's event.

Wish they would have done something different with that camera lens.

I agree... The lines at the back are ugly, but the camera lens is horrible... though it is similar to the newest iPod Touch

This phone is not looking promising at all. From the specs down to the overall design. I just hope these leaks are wrong or at least slightly different from the real phone.

I honestly like it a whole ton more than the iphone 4s/5/5s/5c. I didn't really like any of those designs at all. A more subtle HTC M8. Gotta give props to Apple on the hardware front this time. Other than the front, it's a good looking phone.

I'm not all liking this design. I actually liked the vertical sides of the previous versions.. this rounded edge thing is a turn off for me.

I'm going to jump the gun here and say this will be a huge let down and Tim cook will be let go.

Is it just me or that looks extremely tacky? Nothing like the iPhone 4, that was a real beauty at the time, still classy

The gold with white bands just doesn't look good.

I agree. I have two iphone 5s'. But those round edges. Enlongated buttons. White tape looking lines. Seriously ifans. You think that is attractive. They may have advanced in screen size. Or health tech or other places. But design. I beg to differ. Def a step back ...

Round edges is a HUGE improvement over the sharp edges of the 5. Much more ergonomic. White tape looks good compared to the awful plastic looking top and bottom cutouts of the 5s. Elongated buttons (aka a rocker) is the standard for almost every other phone. Why? Easy to reach and identify buttons. I honestly think this a serious improvement. Not that I ever liked the 5 in the slightest.

I disagree.. I hate the round edges and much prefer the sharp edges.

Their worst design at the moment. Front is ok as any other iPhone, but top and down bezels are just too big compared to the screen size, it looks like what Sony did 2 years ago with their high end phones.. Back panel is ugly. Poorly designed, no skill. That's only my taste, and nobody should care, as Apple customers shouldn't too as they'll cover their phone with a protective case to hide this mess. iOS need a urgent relooking too, my eyes are still bleeding when I look at people's iPhone screens in trains/subway Overall: meh. Not disappointing, that's Apple usual standards for "Innovation", but not good enough to be bought. I'm sure they gonna sell millions of this average phone (even for them) though...

Ironic. Front is the only part I don't like. That ugly home button and still massive bezels. Not that I'd buy one. Glad us Android users have a ton of different designs to choose from!

LOL, iPraise apple for their remarkable design, both UI and external, but now? iPhone became girly looking UI, + this? it's a major turn off for me. they should have stayed with back glass like in iphone 4/4s. if they want curved side, so be it, but i prefer, the sides/rim of iphone 5, + the front panel of the iphone 6, it's looks slightly curved, and it looks good, but all in all, the iphone 6 is fugly as hell.

Ugly, in my opinion, too. And while the latest Moto X doesn't look that much better, at least it can be customized. Best looking new phone so far? Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact.
