Friday evening, evleaks tweeted a picture of what allegedly is the
Nokia Lumia 928, previously known as the Nokia Laser. This device is supposed to be the Verizon version of the flagship
Nokia Lumia 920 but replaces the instantly identifiable polycarbonate body of the latter handset, with a sleeker
aluminum body.
Some other changes to the Verizon model include an improved Xenon flash, which can be seen in the photo sitting next to the LED flash. The Nokia Lumia 920 has received plenty of compliments for its camera and the improvement to the flash should improve on the Nokia Lumia 928's ability to take pictures in low-light conditions.
A recent leaked screenshot of Verizon's inventory data showed that the
Nokia Lumia 928 is coming in four different colors including Blue, Red, White and Cyan. While the phone wasn't left in a bar by a drunk tester,
it was taken to Sea World by a tester who took family pictures with the Nokia Lumia 928 in the frame. The phone is expected to launch sometime this month which could put it in competition with the
Samsung Galaxy S4. Luckily for the Nokia Lumia 928, Verizon isn't offering the
HTC One or else that device would also get in the way of the Nokia Lumia 928.
