OnePlus is taking months to sell fewer handsets than Xiaomi does in ten seconds, using its "Hunger Marketing" tactics. But the manufacturer of the OnePlus One is about to give contest winners 5000 invitations to buy its phone, in what is being called "The Blizzard of Invites." Those receiving an invitation will be able to purchase the 64GB Sandstone Black model for $349.
So far, there are just under 189,000 entries posted by those trying to win the invite. 10 out of the 5000 invitation winners will receive for free, one of those fabulous looking bamboo covers (normally $49 each) that we showed you the other day. There are four ways to be entered in the contest. You can write a message in the OnePlus forum. Or, you can like OnePlus on Facebook. Another way to enter the contest is to follow @oneplus on Twitter, or you can follow OnePlus on Instagram.

You must enter the contest before 9:15am EDT this morning. The winners will be announced 72 hours after the end of the event. Remember, winners do not receive a free phone, only an opportunity to purchase the device.
