Bamboo back cover for OnePlus One to cost $49

For those desirous of a unique look for their handset, the bamboo back cover for the OnePlus One has been priced at $49. That adds 16% to the $299 price of the 16GB Silk White version of the phone, and 14% to the 64GB Sandstone Black variant of the device. The bamboo back cover will be available starting at the end of next month.

Because of the natural design of the bamboo, no two back panels will look the same, adding a degree of customization to the phone. Although the bamboo is the only StyleSwap cover soon to be available, other back panel replacements are expected before the end of the year. Those include back covers made of denim, different variations of wood, and Kevlar. There is no word from the manufacturer on when these other options will be available. All of the StyleSwap covers will be priced at $49.

The default covers for the Silk White and the Sandstone Black versions of the phone have also appeared on the OnePlus website. These will be priced at $29 each.
