First off, there might be two versions - Tab 3 10.1 and Tab 3 8.0 - differing in screen size and battery capacity, of course, but also in RAM amount - 2 GB vs 1 GB for the smaller slate, claims the source. A 1.5 GHz dual-core processor is said to be running the show, which is bound to raise some eyebrows, unless it is a super-duper Exynos 5-series version with Cortex-A15.
A starting amount of 16 GB internal memory is listed, and so is Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for both tabs, which is a no-brainer. These specs sound pretty underwhelming, and we would take much more gladly the leaked specs for the Tab 3 Plus, which include Exynos 5410 Octa CPU, Power SGX 544MP3 GPU, 2GB RAM, 10" 2560×1600 display, 8MP camera, 9000 mAh battery and IR blaster. Still, it's just an obscure leak, and Samsung might be planning a number of slates and versions for its third annual tablet spree.
