Nokia Lumia 920 vs iPhone 4S video image stabilization comparison

Nokia Lumia 920 vs iPhone 4S video image stabilization comparison
The Nokia Lumia 920 and the Apple iPhone 4S were mounted side by side by CCSInsight at Nokia World last week, in order to show how the optical image stabilization works on the Lumia 920 in reality.

Well, it does work, as the video from the Lumia 920 is expectedly much less jerky than the one from the iPhone 4S, aided by the suspension mechanism inside the phone around the camera module, but the iPhone 4S holds its own in terms of exposure, for example.

The test was done with a prototype unit of the Lumia 920, of course, so Nokia will possibly be further fine-tuning the software, as it has plenty of time until the official release when Windows Phone 8 hits retail.

I agree...seems like the "floating lens" tech works wonders...look at how the iPhone's video shakes. The Lumia shakes too but less noticeable!!

Nokia should post some more vids of other flagships vs lumia. And also make sure that NO ONE can doubt the authenticity of those vids. I don't know how they will do it... but that's the only thing that can now resurrect Nokia's hopes. Waiting for the 920...

irrelevant to the news but relevant to nokia nokia is rumored to make new asha with metro(modern)-styled UI!! kinda like this! but hope its not java or S40 anymore..hope that it will be smarterphone team will be building this!!! and the writer also think it will be meltemi or whatever nokia baking that is linux-base...but that put me to one question, since it is inspired by modern UI which is owned by microsoft, i think its fake or if its true they will get sued or anything.. it also get an android-like controls wich is nice... http://mynokiablogdot.com/2012/09/11/mnb-rg-is-this-the-new-asha/ just remove the "dot" after mynokiablog :)
