Nokia smartphone with notched display gets teased, could be Nokia 5.2
The Nokia 4.2

HMD Global, the company behind Nokia-branded smartphones, is holding a big press event tomorrow in both India and Italy simultaneously where it’s expected to announce the Nokia 5.2 and Nokia 6.2.

These two smartphones will represent the latest mid-range offerings from the Finnish company, and with just over 24 hours to go, a notched display on one of the devices coupled with face unlock and a dedicated Google Assistant button has been teased.

The short video, which was published to Nokia Mobile’s Indian Twitter account, doesn’t specify which smartphone it is. However, rumors suggest the Nokia 6.2 will sport a punch hole display, meaning that the notched panel and accompanying features probably belong to the cheaper Nokia 5.2.

Unfortunately for us, very little is known about the device at this stage. However, various Nokia 6.2 details have emerged online over the course of the past few months. Specifically, the smartphones is expected to offer a dual-camera setup along with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. As mentioned above, there should be a punch hole display that'll allegedly sport a 6.22-inch diagonal. Also, in terms of power, rumor has it the device will ship with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 632 on the inside paired with 4GB of RAM.

The smartphone's release date hasn't yet been revealed, but a recent advert on Google pointed towards a starting price of Rs 18,999 in India, which translates into €245 for Europe or $275 for the US. Although, as is often the case, prices in these markets should vary due to different taxes and the value of each currency.
