Nexus 6 up for pre-order at Vodafone U.K.; first 500 receive free Motorola Moto 360
The beastly Nexus 6 can now be pre-ordered at U.K. carrier Vodafone. The first 500 who reserve at least one unit of the stock Android handset from the carrier, will receive a free Motorola Moto 360 smartwatch. The Nexus 6 is free from the carrier with monthly service plans starting as low as $69.60 USD for 24 months. The Moto 360 being given away, has a value of $311.26 USD.

Pre-orders for the Nexus 6 are also being accepted by U.K. phone retailer Clove. A tweet sent out by the latter, revealed that while pre-orders for the Nexus 6 are available now, Clove doesn't expect to receive inventory of the phone until early December. Clove is offering the 32GB Nexus 6 in Midnight Blue for $780.51 USD, which includes taxes.

The Motorola built Nexus 6 is out of stock at the Google Play Store in the U.S. Tomorrow, additional inventory is expected to arrive. Google has said that it would restock the Play Store with Nexus 6 units, every Wednesday. The 32GB model is priced at $649, while the 64GB Nexus 6 is priced at $699.

That's actually a pretty good deal, as the Moto 360 is worth almost half as much as the Nexus 6 itself...

Out of curiosity, what does a no contract plan typically run? Based on the info in the article, buying the two devices outright will run you $1091.77 USD. If you divide that by 24 months it equals $45.49 a month that you'd pay for just the devices, interest free! If the plans start at $69.60 USD then you're only paying $24.11 USD a month for your actual plan. That seems like a fair price to me. I just checked their site and they are running a special for a SIM only plan with 1GB of data for 16.50 BP, which equals $25.80 USD. So to me they are only charging an extra dollar and change a month going this route versus buying both devices outright.

Wow, a free Moto 360? That's one heck of a awesome deal. I would buy it if I were there. But I have Verizon state side.
