Nexus 6 logo peeling off? No problemo, watch Dom fix it (because Motorola won't)
The Nexus 6 might be a 6-inch mountain of a phablet, which doesn't mean it's not an utter softie in some regards - like build quality. Remember the detaching back plate? Well, it's the back plate again - a number of users have taken photos of their handsets' logos coming off. It's not a widespread problem, but sadly, it does happen to honest Nexus 6-owning ladies and gentlemen out there. According to Dom Esposito, the problem is explained by the corners of the silver letters getting caught on fabric and stretching the adhesive to its limits.

Unlike last time, Google & Motorola's support weren't very cooperative, so Dom took matters in his hands, got a replacement cover from eBay, and installed it himself on video. Of course, one can simply peel off the entire logo and end up with a Nexus 5-like color-less branding. But replacing the cover when its time comes is, certainly, the more eye-catching option. Plus, you'll get to tear open the Nexus 6 and gawk at its computer-y insides!
